The Minister of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Abode, emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of all digital initiatives in line with the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, who places particular importance on this sector.
This statement was made by the Minister to the Mauritanian Information Agency following a visit he conducted on Tuesday to institutions under his department, including the Mauritanian Postal Company, the Central Post Agency, the Express Mail Directorate, the National Digital Agency, and the Training and Exchange Center. The visit allowed him to directly assess the working conditions and the nature of the projects being implemented by the department.
The Minister urged the leaders of these institutions to increase the pace of work and to ensure that all tasks are completed as quickly as possible, overcoming any challenges encountered.
During the visit, the Minister toured the various offices within the two institutions, where he received detailed explanations about the working conditions and the issues faced.
The Minister was accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Ministry along with other department officials.
